Handkerchief Production recently launched the "handkerchief" label as a sub-brand of the studio to explore fashion as a medium of expression. In our SS11 collection, our team critically examines patterns and structures of global economy, value shifters, bailouts, pretension, tension and equilibrium in the "post-financial tsunami" era. Inspired by Fritz Lang’s 1927 masterpiece Metropolis, we interpret many of the key issues and transcend the accent of this global phenomenon into the cuts, shapes, fabrics, accessories and details presented in “Lost Queen in Metropolis”.
